Workshop on protection of tribal rights in Durgapur

A workshop on protection of tribal rights has been organized by Prep Trust, a non-governmental development organization, in Durgapur, Netrokona. The workshop was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Sunday afternoon.
On this occasion, education, health, inequality, etc. of the tribals were highlighted in a workshop on protection of tribal rights with the participation of the leaders of the minorities of Durgapur and Kamalakanda upazilas.
Rokeya Yavin Kaisari, Project Coordinator, Prep Trust, was the chief guest at the function. Discussed as special guest, Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Fatema-Tuj-Johra, DSK Samriddhi Program Coordinator Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Press Club General Secretary Tobarak Hossain Khokon, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Md. Kamruzzaman, USDWU Social Service Officer Md. Nurul Islam, Prep Trust IT Officer Mr. Ripon Siddique. Journalist Rajesh Gaur and others.
The speakers said that the indigenous community has been deprived of their rights for ages due to various reasons. In addition to realizing their rights in different parts of the country, Prep Trust is working with others on education, health, discrimination. All sectors present were urged to come forward to work for the protection of their rights.
