The Netrokona Battalion (31 BGB) detained two people while they were illegally loading an Indian rice truck at the Kalmakanda border in Netrokona. A total of 152 sacks of rice, a 3 tonne truck and two mobile phones were seized.

They were arrested from Gobindpur area of ​​Kharnai Union in Kalmakanda Upazila on Sunday (November 1) at noon.
The arrested are Mohammad Mohsin, 21, son of Sultu Miah of Ishail village in Atpara upazila and Mohammad Rajan, 26, son of Mohammad Hafiz Miah of Mohanganj upazila.

Netrokona Battalion (31 BGB) Commander Sabbir Ahmed confirmed the matter in a written press release.



According to a press release, the BGB conducted an operation in the Gobindpur area of ​​Kharnai Union in the border area of ​​Kalmakanda Upazila on Sunday afternoon on the basis of secret information. At that time, they were detained along with the rice while unloading the Indian rice in the truck illegally.

The detainees were later handed over to Kalmakanda police station along with the seized goods.
